LEFTOVERS & PALETTE GREMLINS

A naked woman engages a tiny dragon in playful dance out on the limb of a barren tree. Her arms are flung wide with fingers arched expressively. As she raises a knee in a high step, long blonde hair trails her motion. The limb snakes out like a woody tendril from an abstract tree shape. The trunk is covered in bark-like shingle and ends in a knobby P-shape with bare branches shooting off wildly from its terminal knot.

DRAGONET DANCE

This began as a demo piece, working from a doodle done by an audience member. It went unfinished until I discovered it in my studio last week. Completed with oils leftover from another painting.
